The specific objectives, achievable through a series of well-defined and sequential activities that will succeed each other logically, are as follows:

O.1. Identification, within the proposed area, of the archaeological sites which will be the subject of research;

O.2. Diagnosis of the targeted sites: identifying traces of pottery production within their planimetry and establishing their absolute chronology;

O.3. Archaeometric characterization of the pottery samples and establishing provenance groups;

O.4. Valorising the archaeological and ethnoarchaeological literary sources dealing with the problem of pottery production and distribution;

O.5. Integrated interpretation of the results;

O.6. Dissemination of results and increasing the international visibility of the project.
